As commanded in the Torah, the caring committee carries out the mitzvah of supporting our families with life events.
Lifecycle events such as births, weddings, funerals, and shivas require support from the community. The caring committee coordinates these efforts whenever they are needed.
The caring committee is a small group of members committed to reaching out to the community, as we navigate these life events together.
Another aspect of the caring committee is BIKKUR CHOLIM, or visiting the sick. Our group of volunteer congregation members are available to visit members who are ill and, in certain cases provide other needed services, such as running errands, driving to medical appointments or to the synagogue.
If you are aware of someone who is sick, homebound or are in need of these services please contact: firstname.lastname@example.org.
