Worship

As a conservative, egalitarian congregation, you will find our religious services to be warm and highly participatory.

Friday night services are at 7:30 pm except once a month when we have Friday Family Service at 6:45 pm. Friday night services are mostly in English. They last about an hour and are followed by an Oneg where you can meet and schmooze with other congregants.

Saturday morning is at 9:30 am with Torah services twice a month. The Shabbat morning service is a more traditional Hebrew service lasting about 2 hours. A Kiddish fallows these services. We also serve a kosher luncheon on many Shabbats.

Moses Montefiore Congregation offers High Holiday services for members and their guests, as well as services and traditional events for most Jewish holidays.
